A Remarkable Inaugural Event at Bir Bikram College of Pharmacy
We successfully organized our 3rd Induction and Orientation Programme – Prarambhika 2k25, from 8th to 12th September, aimed at guiding and inspiring newly admitted students as they embark on their educational journey in the field of pharmacy.
The programme concluded on 15th September, with an inspiring session attended by Prof. Dr. Kuntal Manna, Head of the Department of Pharmacy, Tripura University, and Prof. Dr. Subhashis Debnath, Principal of Bharat Pharmaceutical Technology. Their expert advice and encouraging words provided valuable direction and motivation to the students.
During the ceremony, prizes were awarded to students who demonstrated outstanding performance and secured first positions in sports, music, and cultural events conducted earlier in the programme. The awards were presented by the esteemed guests, adding prestige and honor to the event.
A significant moment of the programme was the apron distribution ceremony, where new students were formally welcomed into the pharmacy profession. The importance of this tradition was explained, highlighting the responsibility, discipline, and dedication required as they move forward in their careers.
The event successfully combined academic orientation with recognition of talent, reinforcing the college’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded, responsible, and skilled healthcare professionals.
